Man Tries To Strike Police Officer, Refuses To Pay Taxi, Police Say
Also, four were arrested for driving with suspended driver's licenses, police said. An arrest is merely an accusation, not evidence of a conviction.
The following information is taken from Morton Grove police reports.
ARRESTS
Gabrielle Ester, 19, of Chicago, was stopped for traffic violations Jan. 15 in the 6200 block of Beckwith and charge with driving without a valid driver’s license. Court date is scheduled for 02/25/14.
Daunte Nicholas, 20, of Milwaukee, was stopped for traffic violations Jan. 14 at Frontage and Central and charged with possession of 60 Hydrocodone pills without a prescription.

Alejandro Quiroz, 20, of Skokie, was stopped for traffic violations Jan. 11 in the 6600 block of Dempster, police said, and charged with not having a valid driver’s license. Court date is scheduled for 02/07/14.
Jose Villamiel-Rodriguez, 26, of Glenview was stopped for traffic violations Jan. 12 at Austin and Greenwood, police said, and charged with driving without a valid driver’s license. Court date is scheduled for 02/25/14.

Matthew Solovastru, 24, of Morton Grove was stopped for traffic violations Jan. 9 at Beckwith and Waukegan, police said, and charged with driving on a suspended driver’s license. Court date is scheduled for 02/25/14.
Victor Buzila, 65, of Morton Grove was stopped for traffic violations Jan. 9 at Dempster and Major, police said, and charged with driving without a valid driver’s license. Court date is scheduled for 02/25/14.
Kevin Johnson, 42, of Morton Grove was charged with Theft of Services and Aggravated Assault Jan. 11 when he refused to pay for his taxi and attempted to strike a police officer in the 8100 block of Central, police said. Court date is scheduled for 01/11/14.
Martinique Cooper, 36, of Des Plaines was stopped for traffic violations Jan. 10 at Greenwood and National, police said, and charged with driving on a suspended driver’s license. Court date is scheduled for 02/08/14.
Lazaro Perez, 60, of Chicago was stopped for traffic violations Jan. 14 at Waukegan and Dempter, police said, and charged with driving on a suspended driver’s license. Court date is scheduled for 02/08/14
MISCELLANEOUS
Unknown offender(s) removed an i-phone and change from an unlocked vehicle in the 6400 block of Oakton Jan 11.
