After Shouting Match, Man, Woman Both Charged With Domestic Battery

Also, a man was charged for driving on a license that expired in 2010. An arrest is merely an accusation, not evidence of a conviction.

Leslie George, 48, and James Valentino, 52, both of Chicago, were both charged with one count of domestic battery Dec. 1 at a home in the 8700 block of Ozanam.

At about 6 p.m., George called 911 to say she had been punched in the face by her daughter's father (Valentino), who then fled, according to the police report. She told responding officers that Valentino had come to drop off their daughter, George asked him about child support payments, and he struck her (George) on the right cheek. She said she did not want to pursue charges.
