Manhunt Monday: Have You Seen Lorenzo Maes?

Every Monday Patch highlights one of Cook County's most wanted fugitives.


This week’s fugitive focuses on Lorenzo Maes, who is wanted on a warrant for aggravated criminal sexual assault.

According to the charge on the Cook County Sheriff’s Police website:

"[Maes] met victim at a bar, left with her, choked her and sexually assaulted her in a car and at an apartment.  She was able to escape after he fell asleep."

Maes, 38, is a male white Hispanic. He has black hair and brown eyes. His last known address was in the 2000 block of South Ashland Avenue, Chicago.

Cook County Sheriff’s Police caution the public not to attempt to detain or apprehend fugitives, but to call 911.
