When the employee attempted to stop him, he fled eastbound through the drive-through lane and hopped the fence into a residential neighborhood, then got into the passenger side of a Chevrolet. The restaurant owner arrived and showed police video of the incident. The suspect is described as a male, 20-30 years of age, who was wearing a white mask and gloves. Police are investigating.
Lack of Seatbelt Leads to Bigger Problems
Marta Zherebtska, 40, of the 3000 block of West Cortland Street, Chicago, was charged with DUI when police were conducting seatbelt enforcement. During a roadside check, police asked Zherebtska to stop, and said she was not wearing her seatbelt. Saying she had a moderate odor of alcohol on her breath, they asked her to do field sobriety tests, which she failed, according to the report. Her court date is Oct. 2 in the Skokie branch of the Cook County courts of Chicago.
