Mercedes Damaged, Lexus Slashed

And in another incident, a man was charged with DUI. An arrest is merely an accusation, not evidence of a conviction.

On March 30 at about 9:20 a.m., a Streamwood man said an unknown person damaged the windshield of his 2013 Mercedes sedan, which was parked in the parking lot of an assisted living facility in the 8900 block of Golf Road. The windshield had a hole near the top, likely caused by a sharp object.

A man reported March 30 that his 1998 Lexus four-door vehicle had all its tires slashed, in addition to the driver's door, passenger door and trunk lid being scratched. The windshield wiper blades and a temporary Illinois license plate had been removed. The car was parked in a parking lot in the 9400 block of Washington, and the victim stated the damage happened sometime after 11 p.m. the previous night, according to the report.

The victim thinks a neighbor caused the damage, as the neighbor once called him a name. He requested a followup from police, according to the report.
