The Cook County Medical Examiner's Office has ruled the death of William Woitesek Thursday night a suicide. Woitesek, 49, Thursday night around 8 p.m., according to information provided earlier by Morton Grove police.
A Medical Examiner's Office staff member named Mary M., who asked that her last name not be used, provided the information the death had been ruled a suicide. She also said Woitesek had lived at 6300 W. Touhy, Niles. That is the address of the Leaning Tower YMCA, which has residential rooms.

Morton Grove police said Woitesek, 49, had lived at prior addresses in Glenview and Des Plaines.
According to Woitesek's Facebook page, he attended Loyola Academy in Wilmette and Columbia College Chicago.
