MoGro Blotter: $7,000 Charged On Credit Card

The following information comes from reports. 

ARRESTS

James Felsenthal, 53, of Chicago was charged with retail theft July 12 after police said he concealed a drill bit set and a box of candy and walked out of the store, at 6301 Oakton, passing the last point of purchase without paying for them. Court date is scheduled for 8/16/12.

Calvin Wheeler Jr., 21, of Chicago was stopped for traffic violations July 13 at Dempster and Menard, police said, and charged with driving on a suspended license. Court date is scheduled for 08/15/12.

Judy Decker, 62, of Morton Grove was charged with leaving the scene of an accident after police said she was involved in a vehicle accident and did not stop to report the incident or give information. Court date is scheduled for 8/15/12.

Samia Aezaz, 30, of Chicago was stopped for traffic violations July 13 in the 8900 block of Shermer and charged with driving on a suspended license. Court date is scheduled for 08/15/12.

Malissa Medina, 38, of Niles, was stopped for traffic violations July 14 in the 6400 block of Dempster, police said, and charged with driving under the influence. Court date is scheduled for 8/1/12. 

Lukasz Walus, 21, of Morton Grove was stopped July 15 in the 8000 block of Waukegan Road for traffic violations, police said, and charged with driving under the influence. Court date is scheduled for 9/01/12.

Maria Viveros, 35, of Des Plaines was stopped July 16 in the 9100 block of Marmora for traffic violations, police said, and charged with driving on a suspended license. Court date is scheduled for 8/15/12.

Allison Larkin, 31, of Lincolnwood, was stopped for traffic violations July 17 in the 7300 block of Dempster, police said, and charged with driving under the influence. Court date is scheduled for 8/16/12. 

MISCELLANEOUS

In a criminal damage to vehicle case, an unknown offender broke a window on the victim’s vehicle at 8652 Frontage. on July 11.

In a credit card fraud case on July 13, an unknown offender used information of a victim in the 7800 block of Luna to charge $1,500 on the victim’s credit card. 

In a credit card fraud case, an unknown offender used information of a victim in the 7000 block of Church to charge $7,000 on the victim’s credit cards on July 13.

In a theft from motor vehicle case, an unknown subject stole work tools from the victim’s work van in the 6900 block of Lyons on July 14.

In a criminal damage to vehicle case, an unknown offender scratched the paint on the victim’s vehicle July 16 in the 8300 block of Callie.

In a non-residential burglary case, an unknown offender took two 8-foot copper wires and a copper plate from U.S. Cellular property in the 9100 block of Shermer on July 16.  

In a theft over $300 case, an unknown subject stole two Rheem Air Conditioners from a house that is under construction in the 9400 block of Shermer.  

In a retail theft case, an unknown subject concealed a bottle of wine and ran out of a store at 6931 Dempster on July 18, passing the last point of purchase without paying for the item.
