In an assault case, someone threatened a victim if she didn't give him a discount on a purchase. An arrest is merely an accusation and not evidence of a conviction.

 

Grazyna Sztremer, 55, of Chicago was charged with retail theft after police said she  concealed clothing items at a store at 7250 Dempter on May 16 and walked past the last point of check out without paying for the items. Court date is scheduled for 6/14/12

Michael Klein, 26, of Niles was stopped for speeding 30MPH over the speed limit, police said, on May 12. Court date is scheduled for 6/14/12.

Jennifer Johns, 28, of Niles was stopped for traffic violations on May 13, police said, and was charged with driving without having a valid license. Court date is scheduled for 6/08/12.

Joan Strickland, 19, of Glenview was stopped for traffic violations May 13, police said, and charged with driving under the influence.

Demone Hill, 21, of Evanston was charged with possession of items taken during a burglary May 15 in the 5500 block of Madison after he was arrested on a separate charge by Skokie Police. 

Unknown offender(s) removed a swing from the victim’s backyard May 16 in the 6700 block of Beckwith.

In a criminal damage to property case on May 15, unknown offender(s) damaged several trees belonging to the village that are located on the parkway in the 7600 block of Greenwood.

Unknown offender(s) damaged the victim’s door windows by shooting them with pellets in another criminal damage to property case on May 10. It occurred in the 9000 block of Major. 

In an attemoted burglary case, an unknown offender(s) attempted to pry open the door to the victim’s residence in the 9000 block of Meade on May 15.

In an assault case, an unknown offender threatened physical harm to the victim if she didn’t give him a discount on his purchase. It happened May 11 in the 6300 block of Dempster. 

Unknown offender(s) removed the victim’s bicycle from the train station bike rack on May 11 at 8501 Lehigh.

Unknown offender(s) took the victim’s wallet from his gym locker at 6821 Dempster on May 11. 

Unknown offender(s) took the victim’s wallet from his gym locker at 6821 Dempster on May 10.
