ARRESTS

Pamela Petersen, 36, of Lombard was observed committing traffic violations July 24 in the 7500 block of Dempster, police said, and charged with driving on a suspended license.  Police said they also found in the compartment of her vehicle prescription drugs that were not prescribed for her. Court date is scheduled for 8/15/12.

Camilo Cardenas, 26, of Morton Grove was stopped for traffic violations July 13 in the 5600 block of Dempster, police said, and a smell of burnt cannabis was emanating from the vehicle, according to the report. Police searched the vehicle, resulting in the recovering of cannabis and paraphernalia, the report said. Court date is scheduled for 08/16/12.

Pavol Hyrlo, 38, of Chicago put items into a cart and left the cart alone in a store at 6301 Oakton on July 24, police said.  He then made a purchase of paving bricks, and as the bricks were being loaded into his vehicle, he returned to the store and retrieved the cart he had abandoned and brought the unpaid items out of the store past the last point of check out and put them into his vehicle without paying for them, according to the police report. Court date is scheduled for 7/27/12.

 David Christopher, 54, of Morton Grove concealed a bottle of alcohol in his pants in a store in the 6900 block of Dempster July 21 and then walked past the last point of check out without paying for the item, police said. Court date is scheduled for 08/15/12.

Anthony Vorro, 41, of Lincolnwood was charged with criminal damage to property and criminal trespass after police located him at the business in the 7000 block of Church Street July 20 after being issued an order to never return, police said.  Upon arrival officers discovered that signs and writing had been placed on the building by the subject, according to police. Court date is scheduled for 8/15/12.

David Talacha, 32, of Skokie was stopped for traffic violations July 21 at Dempster and Grand, police said, and charged with driving on a suspended license. His court date is scheduled 8/3/12.

Lias H. Cheng, 28, of Chicago was stopped for traffic violations July 23 and charged with driving on a suspended license.

Carols Martinez, 21, of Elmwood Park was stopped for traffic violations July 23, police said, and charged with  driving on a suspended license.

Warren Hall, 50, of Evanston was charged with failure to provide information at accident scene after being involved in a traffic crash July 24 in the 6100 block of Elm street, police said. He only left his name and phone number and failed to contact the police about the incident, according to the report. Court date is scheduled for 8/15/12.

Grzegorz Starlowski, 35, of Chicago was stopped for traffic violations, police said, and charged with driving under the influence. Court date is scheduled 8/29/12.

MISCELLANEOUS

On July 22 in the 9200 block of Oak Park Avenue, an unknown offender removed two bicycles from the victim’s back yard.

On July 21 in the 9000 block of Cherry, an unknown offender took a GPS and backup camera screen from the victim’s vehicle while it was parked in the driveway.

On July 21 in the 9000 block of Cherry, an unknown offender took $200 from the victim’s vehicle while it was parked in front of the victim’s residence.

In a criminal trespass case in the 9200 block of Oriole July 19, an unknown subject moved around pool chairs after they had gained entry to the pool area during the time when it was closed. 

On July 22 in the 8600 block of Ferris, the offender violated a court order by preventing the victim from contacting her by hanging up the phone when the victim would call.
