ARRESTS

Marquez Edwards, 23, of Indiana was stopped for traffic violations July 11, according to police, and charged with driving on a suspended license. Court date is scheduled for 8/15/12.

Victoria Easun, 25, of Chicago was stopped for traffic violations July 5 in the 7100 block of Dempster, police said,  and charged with driving on a suspended license. 

Rumualdo Marquezibancz, 30, of Park Ridge was stopped for traffic violations July 8 near Waukegan and Dempster, police said, and charged with driving on a suspended license. Court date is scheduled for 8/20/12.

Darrick Mosley, 46, of Skokie was stopped for traffic violations July 6 at Dempster and Lehigh, police said, and charged with driving on a revoked license. Court date is scheduled for 08/15/12.

 James Popelka, 47, of Morton Grove was stopped for traffic violations July 5 in the 9100 block of Waukegan, and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. Court date is scheduled for 8/15/12.

Patricia Sullivan 45, of Park Ridge was stopped for traffic violations in the 7300 block of Dempster July 8 and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. Court date is scheduled for 8/16/12.

Maribell Menoza, 24, of Des Plaines was stopped for traffic violations July 7 near Dempster and Fernald and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. Court date is scheduled for 8/1/12.

Romeo Nieva, 21, of Morton Grove was stopped for traffic violations July 7 near Dempster and Oriole and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. Court date is scheduled for 8/15/12.

Damian C. Moldawa, 29, of Chicago was charged with retail theft July 10 after police said he concealed a drill and walked out of the store at 6301 Oakton, passing the last point of purchase without paying for the item. Court date is scheduled for 8/16/12.

Shikhar Jain, 62, of Lincolnwood  was charged with retail theft July 9 at 6301 Oakton after police said he concealed spikes and walked out of a store at 6301 Oakton, passing the last point of purchase without paying for the items. Court date is scheduled for 8/20/12.

Ioan Tiran, 62, of Skokie was charged with retail theft July 5 at 6301 Oakton after police said he concealed a drill bit and walked out of the store passing the last point of purchase without paying for the item. Court date is scheduled for 8/15/12.

Jack Tucker, 23, of Des Plaines was charged with unlawful use of a weapon during what police said was a traffic stop of a suspicious vehicle July 9 in the 7100 block of Dempster. Police said they discovered  a loaded handgun in the center console. Court date is scheduled for 8/15/12.

MISCELLANEOUS

 On July 11 in the 9300 block of Linder, in a harassment by electronic means case, the offender, who is a business partner of the complainant, sent her an unwanted text message. Complainant did not want to sign complaints.

On July 7 in the 6800 block of Lyons in a disorderly conduct case, the offender told his dog to go attack the victim’s dog, which caused the victim to be disturbed and alarmed. The offender was issued a local citation for disorderly conduct.

On July 8 n the 6000 block of Carol in a criminal damage to vehicle case, an unknown offender poured a caustic substance on the victim’s vehicle causing the paint to peel off. 

On July 6 in the 9400 block of Normandy in a battery case, an unknown offender who was riding his bicycle down the victim’s block pushed the victim after the victim approached him to ask him what he was doing.
