These crimes occurred in Morton Grove last week. An arrest is merely an accusation and does not indicate a conviction.

 

ARRESTS

Roberto Munzo, 43, of Chicago, was stopped for traffic violations Aug. 22 and charged with driving without a valid drivers license

Laura Carranza, 38, of Des Plaines was stopped for traffic volations and charged with driving on a suspended driver's license. Court date is scheduled for 10/10/12. 

Tatiana Salop, 54, of Niles was charged with retail theft after police said she entered a store at 7250 Dempster, concealed a bottle of hand cream and walked past the last point of checkout without paying for the item. Court date is scheduled for 09/6/12.

After a caller reported an intoxicated subject in the 5900 block of Lincoln Avenue Aug. 18, police approached Richard Allen Miller, 45, of Kansas City, Mo. During the investigation, credit cards and state ID cards were found on his person that did not belong to him, police said. They charged him with theft of mislaid property. Court date is scheduled for 09/4/12.

Mohannad Al Al-Qrani, 24, of Des Plaines was stopped Aug. 17 for traffic violations, police said, and was found to be driving on a suspend driver's license.

Justin Noll, 31, of Buffalo Grove was stopped Aug. 18 near Central and Greenwood for traffic violations, police said, and charged with driving under the influence. Court date is scheduled for 09/19/12.

Vincent Butynies, 22, of Chicago, was charged with retail theft after police said he entered a store at 6301 Oakton on Aug. 16 and concealed items in his pants pocket and then walked past the last point of sale without paying for said items. 

Othon Gomes, 26, of Morton Grove was stopped Aug. 20 for having a suspended driver's license, police said.  During the course of the traffic stop, the subject gave improper identification to the officer to avoid arrest of driving on a suspended license, according to the report. He was charged with obstructing ID and driving with a suspended driver's license. Court date is scheduled for 09/4/12.

Richard J. Kunz, 55, of Burbank  entered a store at 6301 Oakton on Aug. 20 and concealed items and then left the store without paying for the items, police said. They charged him with retail theft. 

Salim Hermani, 45, of Addison was stopped for traffic violations Aug. 17, police said, and charged with driving with a suspended driver's license. Court date is scheduled for 09/19/12.                                      

Steve Pollice, 55, of Des Plaines was stopped Aug. 19 for traffic violations and charged with driving on a revoked driver’s license 

MISCELLANEOUS

An unknown offender obtained the credit information of a victim in the 8600 block of Ferris on Aug. 22, and attempted to open a credit card account, but was unsuccessful.

On Aug. 17 at a park at 9201 Oriole, an unknown offender took the victim’s skateboard from the park without permission.

 On Aug. 17 at 6821 Dempster, an unknown offender took the victim’s wallet that contained change and debit card; however, no charges were made prior to the victim cancelling the account.

On Aug. 18 in the 9000 block of Luna, an unknown offender entered the victim’s vehicle and removed the vehicle’s manual.
