MoGro Blotter: Stolen Toilet and Piano Board

Someone took moving blankets, a dolly and the piano board. An arrest is merely an accusation and does not indicate a conviction.

 

Spearo Johns, 26, of Niles was charged with driving on a suspended driver's license April 20 after police stopped him for traffic violations, police said. Court date is scheduled for 5/30/12.

Nico Stirbu, 25, of Chicago was charged with driving on a suspended driver's license April 20 after police stopped him for traffic violations near Churcn ahd Mansfield, police said. Court date is scheduled for 5/9/12.

Clifford Ham, 23, of Hinsdate was charged with possession of a controlled substance April 21 after police stopped him for traffic violations in the 9200 block of Central and found him to be in possession of a plastic bag containing suspect Ketamine, police said. Court date is scheduled for 5/8/12.

Elroy Dawson, 35, of Skokie was stopped for traffic violations April 21 in the 7800 block of Dempster, police said, and was charged with driving under the influence. Court date is scheduled for 5/11/12.

Salvador Garcia, 37, of Skokie was charged with driving under the influence after a witness observed the subject driving erratically in the 6500 block of Palma and alerted police, according to police. Court date is scheduled for 5/21/12.

Omolar Lawal, 23, of Chicago was stopped for traffic violations, police said, and was charged with driving on a suspended driver’s license. Court date is scheduled for 5/11/12.

Biljana Stanojevic, 21, of Niles was involved in a traffic crash near Washington and Golf April 23, police said, and was charged with driving without a valid driver’s license. Court date is scheduled for 5/25/12.

Johnathan Moore, 22, of Chicago was stopped for traffic violations near Dempster and Central on April 24, police said, and was charged with driving on a suspended driver’s license. Court date is scheduled for 5/11/12.

Rigoberto Ortiz, 21, of Chicago was stopped for traffic violations near 8600 Waukegan Road, police said, and was charged with driving on a suspended driver’s license. Court date is scheduled for 5/11/12.

Arkaday Peck, 59, of Glenview was involved in a crash in a parking lot at 6301 Oakton on April 24 and left the scene, police said.  He was later charged with leaving the scene of an accident. Court date is scheduled for 5/25/12.

On April 20, unknown offender(s) took a portable toilet from Oketo Park, 8950 Oketo.

On April 20, a man took two boxes of nails from a store in the 6300 block of Oakton without paying for them.  He was issued a citation and released.

On April 22, Unknown offender(s) took moving blankets, packing boxes, a dolly, and a piano board from the complainant’s truck in the 6200 block of Madison Court. 

An unknown offender claiming to be an immigration officer called a complainant, in the 8800 block of Oak Park, on April 23 and told him that he needed to take English classes or he would be deported.  The offender told the complainant that it would cost $500 for the classes. Classified as deceptive practice: fraud.
