MoGro Police Blotter: Disorderly Conduct, Drugs and Theft

Officers arrested 12 people in the past week and logged seven incidents in the village.

"Readers are reminded that an arrest by the police does not constitute a finding of guilt, and that the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty," according to a statement from police Cmdr. Michael Fujara. All information comes directly from police reports.

Arrests

Jeffrey Miller, 51, of Arlington Heights was charged with a DUI after police stopped him for traffic violations at the 7200 block of Beckwith Road on March 25. Police also found cannabis in his vehicle.

Brian Flood, 25, of Morton Grove "struck a vehicle parked on Marmora" while driving and did not stop. Police discovered Flood and his vehicle a short time later, when he was charged with "leaving the scene of a property damage accident" and possession of cannabis on March 25 at the corner of Dempster Street and Marmora Avenue.

Brittney Romano, 21, of Chicago was involved in "a fight over threats from an ex-girlfriend and the ex-girlfriends's friends," and charged with disorderly conduct and possession of a "controlled substance" on March 26 at the 8700 block of Narragansett Avenue.

Joseph Lutz, 30, of Glenview was involved in "a fight over threats from an ex-girlfriend and the ex-girlfriends's friends," and charged with disorderly conduct on March 26 at the 8700 block of Narragansett Avenue.

Matthew Wilson, 26, of Northbrook was involved in "a fight over threats from an ex-girlfriend and the ex-girlfriends's friends," and charged with disorderly conduct on March 26 at the 8700 block of Narragansett Avenue.

Aaron Roberts, 39, of Morton Grove was involved in "a fight over threats from an ex-girlfriend and the ex-girlfriends's friends," and charged with aggravated battery and disorderly conduct on March 26 at the 8700 block of Narragansett Avenue.

Rebecca Welter, 23, of Arlington Heights was involved in "a fight over threats from an ex-girlfriend and the ex-girlfriends's friends," and charged with possession of cannabis and disorderly conduct on March 26 at the 8700 block of Narragansett Avenue.

Anna Rukawiczkin, 27, of Des Plaines was charged with retail theft and possession of drug paraphernalia on March 27 after she took 11 coffee containers from Dominicks at 6900 Dempster Street.

Katalyzyna Dola, 19, of Chicago was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia on March 27 when she was "driving with a passenger who was suspected of committing a retail theft," and was stopped at 6900 Dempster Street, when the drug paraphernalia was found by police.

Morses Espinoza, 26, of Chicago was charged with driving without a valid driver's license on March 28 at the 6000 block of Dempster Street.

Brandon Pommells, 20, of Evanston was charged with "possession of cannabis with intent to deliver" on March 28 at the 8600 block of Ferris Avenue, when police investigated a suspicious occupied vehicle.

Julie Bull, 51, of Morton Grove was charged with possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, as well as an active warrant, on March 28 at the 8600 block of Ferris Avenue, when police investigated a suspicious occupied vehicle, ran a check on the passenger, and found she had an active warrant.

Known Unknowns

Unknown individual(s) took a battery charger from an unlocked garage on March 25 at the 7100 block of Emerson Street.

Unknown individual(s) took a four feet-tall green postal relay box (estimated more than $300 in worth) at the 8600 block of Waukegan Road on March 25.

Unknown female took items from Walgreens at 5730 Dempster St. on March 24 in a retail theft.

Unknown individual(s) took a GPS unit and Apple iTouch from a vehicle at the 8700 block of Callie Avenue on March 28.

Unknown individual(s) took a purse from a shopping cart on March 28 at the 6300 block of Oakton Avenue, where FedEx is located.

Unknown individual(s) trespassed a motor vehicle but didn't take anything at the 8200 block of Central Avenue on March 28.

Unknown individual(s) took an iPod Nano, a Bluetooth ear piece and money from one vehicle, and a GPS unit and money from a second vehicle on March 29 at the 5800 block of Crain Avenue.
