MoGro Police Blotter: Eggs, Paint Balls Take Aim; Drill Bits Prized
Officers arrested 10 people in the past week and logged six incidents in the village.

Traffic Violation Arrests
Janet Garcia, 27, of River Grove, was charged with driving under the influence on April 4 after police stopped her vehicle for traffic violations at the corner of Golf and Harms Roads.

Bahroze Hussain, 19, of Lincolnwood, was charged with driving with a suspended driver's license on April 7 in the 9000 block of Central Avenue after police stopped his vehicle for traffic violations.

Jermaine Witter, 27, of Evanston, was charged with driving with a suspended driver's license and obstructing identification on April 7. He gave a false name to the officer who stopped Witter's vehicle at the corner of Dempster Street and Oriole Avenue.

Marsha Brawner, 46, of Evanston, was charged with driving with a suspended driver's license after police stopped her vehicle for traffic violations on April 9 in the 8900 block of Waukegan Road.

Kimberly Williams, 21, of Evanston, was charged with driving with a suspended driver's license after police stopped her vehicle for traffic violations on April 9 it the 7800 block of Golf Road.

Denise Buggs, 49, of Evanston, was charged with driving with a suspended driver's license on April 11. Police stopped her vehicle in the 6800 block of Beckwith Road for traffic violations.

John Kehagias, 30, of Morton Grove, was charged with driving with a suspended driver's license on April 11. His vehicle was stopped by police in the 9200 block of Shermer Road for traffic violations.

Javier Anaya-Alvarez, 19, of Park Ridge, was charged with driving without a valid driver's license after his vehicle was stopped April 13 for traffic violations in the 6600 block of Dempster.
Retail Theft Arrests
Mirza Baig, 67, of Chicago, was charged with retail theft after store security personnel watched him leave the store without paying for seven drill bits at the Menards store at 6301 Oakton Ave. on April 7.

Charlie Webster, 36, of Niles, was charged with retail theft after store security personnel watched him take one pack of drill bits without paying for them on April 8 at the Menards store at 6301 Oakton Ave.
Items Stolen
An adult-sized scooter was removed from its location in the 8500 block of Marmora Avenue on April 7.
Jewelry was stolen from a house in the 5500 block of Lincoln Avenue on April 7.
A GPS device was taken from a Toyota and USC from an Acura parked at 5800 Capulina Ave. on April 10.
Mischievous Vandalism
Paint balls were used to mark up the Delaine Farms sign at 6400 Beckwith Rd. on April 9.
A house at 9110 McVicker Ave. was reportedly vandalized when three eggs were thrown at it on April 9.
A house and garage at 5900 Carol Ave., were hit with paint balls on April 10 .
