MoGro Police Blotter: Theft, DUI

Theft

On March 7, a 61-year-old man was charged with retail theft for stealing a screwdriver at a store at 6301 Oakton.

A 22-year-old cashier at Dunkin Donuts in the 5800 block of Dempster was charged with theft for taking money from the cash register on two occasions, in the amounts of $9 and $14.

DUI

Randy Longworth, 29, of Mount Prospect was stopped in the 6400 block of Dempster for traffic violations and charged with DUI and driving on a suspended license. His court date is scheduled for March 29.

John Cook, 57, of Winnetka, was charged with DUI after police found him in the 9500 block of Central on March 10 standing next to his heavily damaged vehicle. The airbags had deployed and he told police he thought he hit a bump, but didn't know where. His court date is April 24. 

Jason Figurelli, 32, of Libertyville, was charged with DUI and driving on a suspended driver's license after police stopped him March 11 in the 6300 block of Dempster for a traffic violation. 

Jinil Joseph, 32, of Des Plaines, was stopped for traffic violations March 14 in the 6700 block of Dempster and charged with DUI. His court date is March 29.
