Independence Day 2013 DUI Mobilization

The Morton Grove Police Department would like to announce the upcoming DUI Mobilization for the Independence Day Holiday. This will take place between June 28 and July 7, 2013. In conjunction with the Illinois Department of Transportation’s Division of Traffic Safety, the Morton Grove Police Department will be out in force making sure impaired drivers are off the road.

Miroslaw Dudz, 55, of Schiller Park, was observed concealing merchandise at a retail store on June 11, police said, and passing the last point of sale without paying. He was charged with retail theft. Court date is scheduled for 07/24/13 at 9:00 AM.

Kashmiere Mosley, 19, of Chicago was stopped for traffic violations June 9, police said, and was charged with driving without a license. Court date is scheduled for 06/25/13 at 10:30 AM.

Eduardo Tovar-Ceja, 21, of Glenview, was stopped for traffic violations June 9 and was found to be driving without a license. Court date is scheduled for 07/24/13 at 10:30 AM

Aldo Chavez, 24, of Niles was stopped for traffic violations June 8, police said, and was charged with driving without a license. Court date is scheduled for 07/10/13 at 10:30 AM.

Johnson Jado, 58, of Skokie was stopped for traffic violations June 7, police said, and charged with possession of cannabis. Court date is scheduled for 07/24/13 at 10:30 AM.

Edilberto Perez-Jimenez, 36, of Chicago, was stopped for traffic violations June 7 and was charged with driving without a license. Court date is scheduled for 07/10/13 at 09:00 AM

MISCELLANEOUS

In a criminal damage to property case June 12 in the 6100 block of Crain, unknown offender(s) threw a rock through the complainant’s window.

In a theft case June 10 in the 6800 block of Dempster, unknown offender(s) took a cell phone that was in a wall charger.

In a burglary to auto case June 5 in the 9300 block of Olcott, unknown offender(s) broke out a window and took an IPod from a locked vehicle.
