Morton Grove Crime: Drugs, ID Theft, DUI

ARRESTS

Seth E. Oles, 21, of Morton Grove was charged with fleeing and eluding after a police officer attempted to stop him for traffic violations, police said. He disregarded the order of the officer to pull over and continued to commit traffic violations, police said, until he came to a stop and was subsequently arrested. Court date is scheduled for 11/15/12.

On Oct. 11, police said Ruben A. Ares, 18, of Chicago was charged with possession of stolen property. Court date is scheduled for 11/15/12.

Ericka Ellinger, 42, of Chicago was stopped for traffic violations at Oakton and Grosse Point Oct. 13, police said, and charged with DUI. Court date is scheduled for 11/29/12

Vicente Diaz, 41, of Chicago was involved in a traffic crash Oct. 12 in the 8900 block of Waukegan Road, police said, and was charged with driving without a license. Court date is scheduled for 11/29/12 

Raul Sorbun, 21, of Park Ridge, was stopped for traffic violations Oct. 13 at Dempster and Shermer, police said, and charged with driving without a license. Court date is scheduled for 11/29/12

Kyle D. Kruse, 20, of Lake Zurich, was stopped for traffic violations Oct. 14 in the 9200 block of Oak Park, police said, and charged with posession of cannabis and paraphernalia in his vehicle.  

Narciso Herera Garcia, 37, of Niles, was stopped for traffic violations Oct. 14, police said, and charged with DUI. Court date is scheduled for 11/30/12.

Luis Guerrero, 63, of Chicago, was charged with theft after police said he concealed store merchandise in his clothing Oct. 16 at 6301 Oakton and walked past the last point of checkout without paying for the items. Court date is scheduled for 10/24/12

On Oct. 17, police said Miroslaw Kowalczyk, 55, of Park Ridge, concealed store merchandise at 6301 Oakton and walked past the last point of checkout without paying for the items. He was charged with retail theft. Court date is scheduled for 11/15/12 

John Fusco, 42, of Skokie was arrested Oct. 17 on a Morton Grove warrant for Violation of an Order of Protection, police said.  Court date is scheduled for 10/25/12.

Justin K. Shelly, 24, of Plainfield, was stopped for traffic violations Oct. 16, police said, and charged with driving on a suspended driver's license. Court date is scheduled for 11/15/12.

Brenda C. Munoz, 19, of Chicago was stopped for traffic violations Oct. 16, police said, and charged with driving without ever being issued a DL. Court date is scheduled for 11/29/12.

Jonathan Medina, 30, of Berwyn, was stopped for traffic violations Oct. 15, police said, and charged with driving on a suspended driver's license. Court date is scheduled for 10/31/12. 

MISCELLANEOUS

In a deceptive practice case Oct. 15 in the 5800 block of Oakton, an unknown offender used the victim’s information to file a tax return.

In a theft Oct. 15 at 5851 Lincoln, an unknown offender took the air conditioning unit from the business.

In a theft Oct. 16 at 6821 Dempster, an unknown offender took the victim’s prescription medication from his locked locker in the changing room at the fitness center.

In a theft Oct. 16 at 6821 Dempster, an unknown offender took the victim’s lock off the front of his locker in the changing room at the fitness center. 

In a theft Oct. 16 in the 8800 block of Major, an unknown offender(s) broke the window out of the passenger side door of the victim’s vehicle and removed several tools from the vehicle. 

In a residential burglary Oct. 15 in the 7500 block of Churchill, an unknown offender(s) entered the victim’s residence and removed camera equipment from the home.
