Morton Grove Crime: DUI, Retail Theft, Vehicle Crash

INCREASED PATROLS FOR DUI DRIVERS OVER JULY 4 HOLIDAY

The Morton Grove
Police Department will be increasing patrols from June 28 to July 7 to keep impaired drivers off the road, and save others from being killed by DUI drivers.

ARRESTS

Brygida Badowska, 54, of Chicago, was observed
concealing merchandise, according to the report, and passing the last point of sale without paying on June 18. She was charged with retail theft. Court date is
scheduled for 07/25/13 at 1:30 PM.

Brian Coan, 50, of Glenview, was involved
in a single-vehicle crash June 17, according to the report, and was subsequently charged with driving under the
influence of alcohol. Court date is
scheduled for 07/24/13 at 10:30 AM.

Raul Arroro-Rivera, 22, of Chicago was stopped
for traffic violations June 13, police said, and was found to be driving without a license. Court date is
scheduled for 07/24/13 at 10:30 AM.

Hector Garcia, 47, of Chicago, was stopped
for traffic violations June 16, police said, and was charged withdriving under the influence of
alcohol. Court date is
scheduled for 07/24/13 at 9:00 AM.

Shihab Hasan, 45, of Skokie was stopped

for traffic violations June 16 and charged with driving with a suspended license. Court date is
scheduled for 07/24/13 at 9:00 AM.

Natalya Garbuzova, 27, was stopped
for traffic violations June 15, police said, and was charged with driving under the influence of
alcohol. Court date is
scheduled for 07/24/13 at 9:00 AM.

James E. Schlesinger, 22, of Chicago was stopped

for traffic violations June 14, police said, and was charged with driving with a suspended license and had a warrant. Court date is
scheduled for 07/24/13 at 9:00 AM.

Candelabra Guerrero, 45, of Chicago was stopped June 13 for traffic violations, police said, and was charged with driving without a valid license. Court date is

scheduled for 07/29/13 at 10:30 AM.

MISCELLANEOUS

In a theft case June 13 in the 9100 block of Mansfield, unknown offender(s)
took a package left by UPS.
