Morton Grove Crime: Hit and Run, Resisting Arrest, DUI

There were also theft cases and a possession of a controlled substance charge. An arrest is merely an accusation, not a conviction.

 

ARRESTS

Ramiro Nieto, 25, of Chicago was stopped for traffic violations Oct. 24, police said, and was charged with driving without a valid driver's license. Court date is scheduled for 10/24/12.

Salvador Salamanca-Marquez, 26, of Des Plaines was charged with driving without a valid driver's license Oct. 7 after he was involved in a hit and run accident, police said. Court date is scheduled for 10/25/12.

Gerardo Bote, 51, of Morton Grove was stopped for traffic violations Oct. 6 at Dempster and Ferris, police said, and charged with DUI. Court date is scheduled for 11/29/12.

Williams Eason, 44, of Skokie was stopped for traffic violations Oct. 10 in the 6200 block of Dempster, police said, and charged with DUI. He was also charged with resisting arrest and possession of a controlled substance. Court date is scheduled for 10/24/12.

MISCELLANEOUS

In a criminal damage to vehicle incident Oct. 5 at 9215 Washington, an unknown offender damaged the victim’s vehicle with a brick.

In a theft incident, an unknown offender entered the victim’s unlocked vehicle Oct. 6 at 5815 Main and took several items.

In a theft incident Oct. 9 at 8240 Austin, an unknown offender took the victim’s cash and credit card from inside the clothing the victim left in the changing room.
