Morton Grove Crime: Hit and Run, Theft, Burglary

ARRESTS

Ronald McDermott, 48, of Chicago was charged with hit and run after police said he struck an unattended parked vehicle Feb. 26 and failed to leave information. Court date is scheduled for 03/14/13 at 10:30 AM.

Gregory T. Jackson, 26, of Des Plaines was stopped Feb. 24 for traffic violations, police said, and was subsequently charged with driving on a revoked driver’s license. Police said he also had a warrant for his arrest. Court date is scheduled for 04/04/13 at 10:30 a.m.

Police said JeeHee Lee, 40, of Chicago was observed concealing beauty products at a store in the 7200 block of Dempster, then exiting the store without paying for the items. She was charged with retail theft under $300. Loss Prevention agents stopped her past the last point of sale and turned her over to MGPD. Court date is scheduled for 04/04/13 at 1:30 PM.

Saboor Hanif, 20, of Schaumburg was charged with providing alcohol to a minor after police said he was observed serving alcohol to subjects at his place of business in the 6200 block of Dempster. Court date is scheduled for 03/14/13 at 10:30 AM

Brian K. Jones, 38, of Chicago was stopped Feb. 22 for traffic violations, police said, and was subsequently charged with driving on a suspended driver’s license.

MISCELLANEOUS

In a residential burglary case in the 7400 block of Suffield Feb. 26, unknown offender(s) unlawfully entered complainant’s locked residence and removed unknown items.

In a criminal damage to property case Feb. 25 in the 8500 block of Lehigh, unknown offender(s) wrote on a newspaper dispenser with a pink marker.

In a theft of motor vehicle parts case Feb. 24, unknown offender(s) removed tires and rims from a vehicle in the 8800 block of Waukegan Road.
