Morton Grove Crime: Stolen Laptop, Assault By Clothing Rack
An arrest is merely an accusation, not evidence of a conviction.
ARRESTS
Aida Blake, 51, of Chicago, was charged with battery and trespass to property Aug. 9 at a store at 6715 Dempster. Blake, an employee, pushed a clothing rack into the victim, a manager, during an argument over Blake's paycheck, according to the police report. Blake did not leave the store when asked several times by the victim to leave store. Court Date: 08/26/13
Michael A. Beck, 22, of Morton Grove was charged with leaving the scene of an accident on Aug. 10 in the 9100 block of Marmora. Court Date: 08/29/13

Bret Neu, 49, of Villa Park was stopped for traffic violations Aug. 10 in the 8500 block of Austin, police said, and charged with driving on a suspended driver’s license. Court Date: 08/29/13
Rayman Shaba, 43, of Des Plaines was stopped for traffic violations Aug. 11 in the 9300 block of Marion and charged with driving on a suspended driver’s license. Court Date: 09/30/13.

Alex Brown, 26, of Morton Grove was stopped for traffic violations Aug. 13 at Dempster and Ferris, police said, and charged with driving on a suspended driver’s license. Court Date: 08/29/2013.

In a Theft case Aug. 5 in the 8400 block of McVicker, unknown offender(s) took a bicycle from the victim’s backyard.
In a Burglary to Motor Vehicle case Aug. 6 in the 9400 block of Oketo, unknown offender(s) entered the victim's three unlocked vehicles parked in the driveway and took approximately $8 in change and an I-Phone charger.
In a Burglary to Motor Vehicle case Aug. 6 in the 9500 block of Oketo, unknown offender(s) entered the victim’s unlocked vehicle parked in the driveway and took a laptop computer.
In an Ordinance Violation case Aug. 9 in the 9400 block of Oriole, unknown offender(s) dumped landscape waste next to the victim’s dumpster.
In a Criminal Damage to Vehicle case Aug. 12 in the 6900 block of Dempster, unknown offender(s) damaged the victim’s vehicle when parked in the lot.
In a Burglary to Motor Vehicle case Aug. 12 in the 9200 block of National, unknown offender(s) entered the victim’s garage and took a handicap placard from the unlocked vehicle.
