Morton Grove Crime: Theft, DUI, Criminal Damage

One person was charged with providing false information in a motor vehicle accident. An arrest is merely an accusation and does not indicate a conviction.

 

ARRESTS

Anatoly Rozenblat, 64, of Skokie, was charged with retail theft Jan. 16 after police said he removed merchandise at a store at 6301 Oakton and proceeded past the last point of purchase without paying. Court date is scheduled for 02/11/13.

Nathan Wilks, 28, of Chicago was stopped for traffic violations Jan. 17 at Dempster and Lehigh, police said, and charged with driving on a suspended driver’s license. Court date is scheduled for 02/11/13.

Eric S. Drozdek, 20, of Morton Grove, was charged with providing false information in regards to a motor vehicle accident Jan. 17 in the 6900 block of Beckwith. Court date is scheduled for 03/01/13.

Elizabeth M. Byrne, 23, of Chicago was stopped for traffic violations at Dempster and Waukegan Jan. 19, police said, failed field sobriety tests, and charged with DUI.  She was also charged with driving on a suspended license and had an active warrant. Court date is scheduled for 02/06/13.

Shadora Knox, 36, of Oak Park, was stopped for traffic violations Jan. 19 at Lincoln and Lotus, police said, and charged with driving on a suspended driver’s license. Court date is scheduled for 02/06/13

Karen Steiner, 48, of Wilmette, was charged with retail theft after police said she removed merchandise from a store at 6301 Oakton and proceeded past the last point of purchase without paying. Court date is scheduled for 03/01/13.

Jerome Guy, 37, of Skokie was stopped for traffic violations Jan. 12 at Dempster and Menard, police said, and charged with driving without a valid driver’s license. Court date is scheduled for 02/06/13.

MISCELLANEOUS

In a Criminal Trespass to Vehicle case Jan. 19 in the 5900 block of Cleveland, unknown offender(s) entered an unlocked vehicle but did not take anything.

In a Theft from Motor Vehicle case Jan. 19 in the 5800 block of Monroe, unknown offender(s) entered two vehicles.  A digital camera was taken.

In a theft case Jan. 18 in the 9500 block of Ozark, unknown offender(s) took victim’s package shipment from their porch.

In a criminal damage case in the 5500 block of Lincoln Jan. 18, unknown offender(s) damaged the victim’s car mirror.

In a criminal damage case Jan. 22 in the 6100 block of Mayfair, unknown offender(s) damaged 13 light bulbs.
