Morton Grove Police Investigating Teen's Death

Morton Grove Police are investigating the death of a 19-year-old male who died on Saturday.

The teen was found unresponsive at a house on the 5500 block of Madison in Morton Grove. Officers attempted CPR on the male, who was found to be not breathing and without a heartbeat, until paramedics from the Morton Grove Fire Department arrived.

The 19-year-old was brought to Skokie Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

Preliminary reports indicate that the male was not a victim of a violent crime, but the investigation is ongoing, according to the Morton Grove Police Department. The identity of the victim is not being released at this time.
