Morton Grove Train Victim Identified

Cook County Medical Examiner's Office Releases Name.

The Cook County Medical Examiner's Office has released the name of the person killed Thursday by a Metra train just south of the Morton Grove train station. They gave the name as William Woitesek. They had no other information at this time, but said more information may be available in the future.

Woitesek died when an inbound North Central Service train stuck him as he was walking on the tracks at about 8 p.m. Thursday. The train was running express from Grayslake to Chicago's Union Station, and consequently was traveling at full speed.
