Mother Accuses Alleged Addicts of Retaliating

Woman finds 'I am a fag' among markings scratched into her vehicle's paint after evicting pair.

A 54-year-old woman who lives in the 7400 block of Neva Avenue called police April 17 to report damage to her 1999 Jeep Cherokee. The resident told police that she suspected her 24-year-old daughter and the daughter's boyfriend caused the damage.

The woman alleges that both are heroin addicts and said they occasionally stay with her. She said they became upset when told to leave April 16. Later, several scratches, including the words "I am a fag," were found on her vehicle.

The woman told police that she had also been getting harassing text messages and phone calls from both offenders. Police filed a report.
