Neighbors Call Police During Domestic Dispute

A neighbor called police Dec. 1 at about 11:30 p.m. after hearing arguing in the apartment above hers in the 6500 block of Ebinger, Niles. Police said the victim, a 37-year-old woman, told them she was having an argument with her 39-year-old boyfriend over past relationships. The offender agreed to leave for the evening. Police issued domestic violence forms to both parties.

Man accuses woman friend of taking his debit card

A 71-year-old Park Ridge man told police that a friend of his, a 40-year-old woman, spent the night a few days ago. According to police, he said she has stolen from him in the past. After she left a few days ago, the man discovered his debit card was missing, and upon checking with his bank, discovered an unauthorized charge of $203 from a grocery store in the 8700 block of Dempster, Niles. He has closed the account and asked police to follow up.
