Niles Man Allegedly Points Gun At Cop, Gets Shot

The incident happened in Chicago Sunday morning; he was taken to the hospital.

Mirza Grosic, 30, of the 9100 block of W. Terrace Drive, Niles, was charged with two misdemeanor weapons charages after allegedly pointing a gun at an off-duty Chicago police officer during an incident in the River North neighborhood of Chicago Sunday morning, according to the Chicago Tribune.

As a result, the officer shot Grosic and wounded him in the hand. He was taken to a hospital for treatment. Read the full story here.
