Niles Police arranged to have nine vehicles towed on Wednesday due to rapidly mounting snowfall. The drivers had abandoned the vehicles, which had gotten stuck in the snow. All were on the street, and some were blocking traffic. The vehicles were:
- a 1993 Dodge pickup truck left at 6657 Touhy, Niles
- a 1998 Lexus left at 9000 Milwaukee Ave., Niles
- a Nissan left at 8500 Golf Road, Niles
- a 1998 Ford Crown Victoria left at 6881 Milwaukee, Niles
- a 2007 Volkswagen left at Milwaukee Avenue and Golf Road, Niles
- a 2009 Honda left at 7789 Caldwell, Niles
- a 2004 Toyota Camry left at Milwaukee Avenue and Golf Road, Niles
- a 2000 Kia left at 9000 Milwaukee, Niles
- a 1996 Toyota Corolla left at 8955 Greenwood, Niles
