The Toy Shoppe claw machine was reportedly broken into and $308.50 taken from it by an unknown offender sometime between July 23 and July 30 in the 8500 block of Golf Rd. The theft was reported by the agent for the coin operated machine, and told police the only way to open up the machine is with a key, and only four other employees in the area have possess that key. The lock for the machine was intact when the theft was discovered. The investigation is pending, based on future gathering of evidence gathered from four cameras near the vestibule where the claw machine is located.
