When Morton Grove police responded to a fire alarm March 17, it led to police responding to a domestic incident and weapons and property damage charges.

According to police, someone at a party in a condo building in the 5500 block of Lincoln pulled the fire alarm. Upon arrival, police discovered a domestic situation was occurring between a female resident of the building and her boyfriend. The woman told police she thought her boyfriend pulled the alarm to get back at her, and also said he damaged her condo, police said. Police charged the boyfriend, Adan Coronel, 29, of Morton Grove, who is on parole, with criminal damage to property. His court date is May 8 in the Skokie branch of the Cook County courts.
