Pedstrian Hit By Train on Union Pacific Line
Trains in Des Plaines, Park Ridge are still delayed, as of late morning, due to the incident that occurred around 7:30 a.m.
Union Pacific Northwest Metra trains are still delayed, as of 11:23 a.m. after a pedestrian was hit in Des Plaines, the Sun-Times reports.
A Metra train hit the person at 7:30 a.m. near the Des Plaines train station, the newspaper reports.
Many Union Pacific Northwest Trains to and from Chicago were halted as of 8 a.m. due to the incident. More information on delays can be found at metrarail.com.
