Police Blotter: Driving Arrests in Morton Grove

Morton Grove Police recently issued three driving charges.

"Readers are reminded that an arrest by the police does not constitute a finding of guilt, and that the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty," according to a statement from police Cmdr. Michael Fujara. All information comes directly from police reports.

Driving Violations

Melissa Islam, 20, of Huntley, was charged with driving without a valid license on May 14 after police stopped her for traffic violations in the 8700 block of Menard Avenue. Her court date is June 7.

Ericka Robles, 30, of Lombard, was charged with driving with a suspended license after police stopped her for traffic violations on May 16 at the corner of Dempster Street and Lehigh Avenue. Her court date is July 11.

Rony Youkhana, 20, of Morton Grove, was charged with driving without a valid license on May 17 after police stopped him for traffic violations at the corner of Lehigh Avenue and Davis Street. His court date is June 21.
