Police Blotter: Fists Fly and DUI

"Readers are reminded that an arrest by the police does not constitute a finding of guilt, and that the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty," according to a statement from police Cmdr. Michael Fujara. All information comes directly from police reports.

Oct. 2
No Valid Driver's License - Kelly Corniel, 33, of Chicago, was stopped for traffic violations and found to be driving without a valid driver’s license. Her court date is scheduled for Nov. 22.

Oct. 8
Revoked License - Police arrested Ralph Edwards, 35, of Des Plaines, after he was stopped at 6323 Dempster St. for traffic violations and found to be driving with a revoked driver’s license. His court date is scheduled for Nov. 7.

Oct. 8
DUI - Muguel Silva, 29, of Chicago, was stopped for traffic violations at 6300 Dempster St. and found to be driving under the influence. His court date is scheduled for Nov. 9.

Oct. 9
Assault/Harassment by Telephone - Wladyslaw Dubiel, 60, of Morton Grove, allegedly threatened a victim by phone and in person. Court date is scheduled for Oct. 13.

Oct. 8
Revoked Driver's License/Obstructing - Bayarsaikhan Nadmid, 19, of Mount Prospect, was stopped for traffic violations at 6000 Dempster St. and found to be driving with a revoked driver’s license. Court date is scheduled for Nov. 2.

Oct. 12
Battery - Police arrested David Murov, 23, of Glenview, for allegedly hitting a victim in face with a closed fist at 9001 Waukegan Rd. His court date is scheduled for Nov. 7.   

Oct. 11
Battery - Joseph A. Uhrik, 65, of Morton Grove, was arrested for allegedly hitting a victim with a closed fist at 9000 Birch Ave.  
His court date is scheduled for Nov. 28.

Oct. 11
Battery - Nicolas D. Mansueto, 51, of Morton Grove, was arrested for allegedly hitting a victim in the face with a closed fist at 9000 Birch Ave. His court date is scheduled for Nov. 28.

Oct. 13
DUI - Dimitrios Stathis, 44, of Niles, was stopped for traffic violations and found to be driving under the influence at Waukegan Road and Beckwith Road. His court date is scheduled for Nov. 2.
