Police Blotter: Ice Cream Cart Theft, DUI

The following items are taken from the Morton Grove Police Department. In all incidents where an arrest occurred, a charge is merely an accusation and not evidence of guilt. The arrested person is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Nov. 20
No Valid Driver’s License - Erez Maman, 27, of Chicago, was stopped near Dempster Street and Waukegan Road for traffic violations and charged with driving without a valid driver’s license. Court date is scheduled for Dec. 9.

Nov. 19
No Valid Driver’s License - Margarito Morales-Quintanillz, 41, of Melrose Park, was stopped at 9400 Waukegan Rd. for traffic violations and charged with driving without a valid driver’s license. Court date is scheduled for Dec. 28.

Nov. 18
No Valid Driver’s License - Lorenzo Morales-Lorenzana, 21, of Chicago, was stopped for traffic violations and charged with driving without a valid driver’s license. His court date is scheduled for Dec. 13.

Nov. 20
Suspended Driver’s License - Ze Aej. Kim, 24, of Oak Park, was stopped near Dempster Street and Sayre Avenue for traffic violations and found to be driving with a suspended driver’s license. Court date is scheduled for Dec. 13.

Nov. 18
Suspended Driver’s License – Gisan Pak, 25, of Justice, was stopped at 6800 Dempster St. for traffic violations and charged with driving with a suspended driver’s license. Court date is scheduled for Dec. 28.

Nov. 23
Suspended Driver's License - Walter Bonilla, 35, of Park Ridge, was stopped for traffic violations and charged with driving with a suspended driver’s license.
His court date is scheduled for Dec. 9.

Nov. 24
DUI / Possession of Cannabis - Brian Matos, 24, of Chicago, was stopped near Waukegan Road and Dempster Street for traffic violations and charged with DUI and in possession of cannabis. His court date is scheduled for Dec. 13.

Nov. 20
Arrest on Warrant - Antonio Ponce-Rios, 28, of Des Plaines, was arrested on an active warrant which was discovered during a battery investigation on the 6000 block of Dempster Street. Subject was transported to Skokie court house and turned over to the Sheriff.

Nov. 20
Theft - Lahaira Flores, 28, of Chicago, and Paola Vazquez-Sanchez, 31, of Chicago, were charged with taking a metal ice cream cart from the back of a business on the 6900 block of Dempster Street. Court date is scheduled for Dec. 30.
