Police Blotter: Suspended Driver's License
The following information was supplied by the Niles police department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.
Roshawn Hooks, 21, of Niles was charged with driving on a suspended driver's license on Oct. 31 at about 4:30 p.m. after police on patrol learned of a hit and run traffic accident near Golf Mill Shopping Center, Niles.
Police located the described vehicle, a red Dodge four-door, and conducted a traffic stop. The driver, Hooks, was found to have a suspended license, police said. He was also cited for lack of insurance. His court date is Dec. 12 in the Skokie branch of the Cook County courts.

Marbella Castaneda, 26, of West Pratt Avenue, Chicago, was charged with driving without a valid driver's license Nov. 1 at about 3:40 a.m. when poice stopped her driving eastbound on Touhy at 55 mph in a 35 mph zone. A database check showed she did not have a driver's license, police said. Her court date is Dec. 7 at the Skokie branch of the Cook County courts.
