Police Blotter: Suspended License, Cyber Stalking

The police department has provided the following reports. Charges do not indicate a conviction.

"Readers are reminded that an arrest by the police does not constitute a finding of guilt, and that the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty," according to a statement from police Cmdr. Michael Fujara. All information comes directly from police reports.

Oct. 17
No Driver’s License - Jason Goodnight, 20, of Evanston, was stopped for traffic violations and found to be driving without a valid driver’s license. His court date is scheduled for Nov. 7.

Oct. 19
No Driver’s License - Jaime Garcia, 24, of Des Plaines, was stopped for traffic violations and found to be driving without a valid driver’s license. Her court date is scheduled for Dec. 8.

Oct. 18
Suspended Driver’s License - Jose Alonso-Luna, 40, of Chicago, was stopped for traffic violations and found to be driving with a suspended driver’s license. Court date is scheduled for Nov. 22.

Oct. 17
Hit & Run Accident - Purabi Majmmdar, 62, of Glenview, allegedly failed to stop and exchange information and notify the police after being involved in an accident at 9533 Oconto Ave. Court date is scheduled for Nov. 22.

Oct. 19
Retail Theft - Adam Adamczyk, 26, of Chicago, was allegedly observed placing concrete anchors from one box into another concrete anchor box with a cheaper sale price. The subject did not pay full value for the items before exiting the store at 6300 Oakton St. His court date is scheduled for Nov. 3. 

Oct. 18
Cyber Stalking - Richard Rotblatt, 45, of Morton Grove, allegedly continued to send electronic messages to a victim after being told to stop. His court date is scheduled for Oct. 26.
