Police Blotter: Theft, DUI

The following arrest information was supplied by the Morton Grove police department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Nov. 28

No Valid Driver’s License - Antonio Perez, 56, of Chicago, was stopped for traffic violations on the 8800 block of Menard Avenue and charged with driving without a valid driver’s license. His court date is scheduled for Jan. 13.

Nov. 23
No Valid Driver’s License - Ignacio Jimenez, 57, of Chicago, was stopped on the 9000 block of Austin Avenue for traffic violations and charged with driving without a valid driver’s license. His court date is scheduled for Dec. 13.

Nov. 24
DUI / Minor – Consumption of Alcohol
Officers responded to a disturbance call where, during the investigation they found Samuel Ortiz, 19, of Skokie, to be under the influence of alcohol and in actual physical control of a vehicle. Subject was also found to be under 21 years old and was also cited for under age consumption of alcohol. His court date is scheduled for Dec. 8.

Nov. 30
DUI / Hit & Run - Michael S. Cajiano, 29, of Norridge, was charged with DUI at Marmora Avenue and Cleveland Street after he allegedly drove his vehicle onto a front yard. The subject allegedly struck two parked vehicles before driving onto the front yard. His court date is scheduled for Jan. 12.

Nov. 27
Arrest on Warrant - Ronald J. Erickson, 52, of Chicago, was arrested on an active warrant and later bonded out.

Nov. 29
Arrest on Warrant - Joshua Klein, 20, of Skokie, was arrested at his residence on an active local warrant for theft.

Nov. 26
Battery - One subject ran into the other while running on the running track at a gym located on the 6800 block of Dempster Street. Both Laird Larsen, 68, of Chicago, and Michael Egle, 49, of Glenview, were arrested after wanting to sign complaints against each other. Court date is scheduled for Dec. 30.

Nov. 23
Retail Theft - After being stopped for setting off the alarm while exiting a store located on the 5700 block of Dempster Street, Timothy J. Morris, 59, of Chicago, was found to have concealed weight loss supplements on his person for which he did not pay. His court date is scheduled for Dec. 1.

Nov. 28
Retail Theft - Dobrinel Jordanovic, 37, of Chicago, was observed concealing screws and drive bits and exiting a store on 6300 block of Oakton Street without paying for the items. Court date is scheduled for Dec. 13.
