Police Warn of Two Phone Scams

In both, callers say they are from law enforcement agencies. But they're not.

Niles police are warning of two telephone scams.

In the first scam, a caller identifies himself or herself as being from the State's Attorney's office and tells you to wire money to settle an outstanding issue. The caller warns an arrest warrant will be issued for you if you do not comply.
