Police Week Ceremony Set

It's especially meaningful to Niles Police Department.

 

, National Police Week, which commemorates fallen law enforcement officers, is especially solemn for the Niles Police Department.

This year, National Police Week is May 13-19.

The Niles Police Department will be commemorating it on May 15  at 8:00 a.m. with a flag ceremony. Members of the Niles Police Department and honor guard will lower the flag to honor police officers who gave the ultimate sacrifice in their duties as a police officer. The event will occur directly in front of the flag pole in front of the police department off of Touhy Avenue.
