Pregnant Woman Hit After Disclosing Father Of Child

She was staying at a relative's home.

An 18-year-old woman called police after an argument with her 57-year-old uncle, who lives in the 9200 block of Maryland Street, Niles, on Feb. 18.

The man told police his niece, who is eight months pregnant, had been staying in his home for a few weeks because of conflict in her own home about her refusal to reveal the baby's father.

On the day of the argument, the uncle asked the niece who the baby's father was, and she broke down in tears and revealed the answer. The uncle slapped both a 21-year-old man, who was present, and the woman in the face.
