Slap in the Face, Arts and Crafts Heist

A retail manager got a surprise when he asked a woman to leave the store and arts and crafts were taken on the sly. An arrest is merely an accusation and not evidence of a conviction.

Retail Face Slap

Officers arrived at a retail store in the 8500 block of Golf Road, Niles, due to a disturbance reported by the 66-year-old male manager of the store, on Aug. 5. A 21-year-old Chicago woman reportedly caused the disturbance in the store, and when the manager asked her to leave she slapped him in the face with an open hand. Police later learned the offender suffers from mental disabilities. The victim chose not to sign a complaint and the offender was reminded not to return to the location.
