String of Nine Auto Burglaries Hits Niles Over Weekend
Items of value were taken; all were left in plain sight.
Nine autos were burglarized between Friday, Aug. 5 and Sunday, Aug. 7 in Niles.
In all cases, the items stolen were valuables left either on the front seat or in plain view, Niles police said.
The incidents occurred across the village, and police said there was no discernible pattern to them.
