Neuberger was teaching a swim class in the YMCA's pool when she suffered the seizure, and other instructors rushed to begin lifesaving efforts, according to police. Niles Fire Department paramedics took over lifesaving efforts when they arrived, and took the woman to Advocate Lutheran General Hospital. However, she was pronounced dead at 6:20 p.m. The county Medical Examiner's Office is investigating.

Note: The YMCA reported Wednesday morning Neuberger's age was 25, and Patch included that information. The YMCA now states Neuberger's age was in fact 31.
