Teens Told 'Turn Your Pockets Out' During Robbery

One had his iPhone taken.

Three teen boys, a Glenview 14-year-old, a Glenview 15-year-old and a Northbrook 16-year-old, were approached by five suspects just after midnight Monday as they were walking in the 9600 block of Milwaukee Avenue. The suspects took $2 from the first boy and then took the second boy's Apple iPhone and pushed him to the ground. They didn't take anything from the third boy.

Niles police located two of the suspects, however, the victims did not want to participate in follow through, and were released to their parents. Police returned the property to the victims.

A Park Ridge resident reported that someone broke the drivers side window on his 1990 Honda minivan and removed a Garmin GPS and power cord on Monday at about 6:40 p.m. in the 8200 block of Odell, Niles.
