Touhy Shut Down Due To Truck-Train Accident
The train crossing at Lehigh Avenue was reopened but has closed again so crews can make repairs.

ORIGINAL STORY
Touhy Avenue is shut down both eastbound and westbound in Niles, near Skokie and the Village Crossing Shopping Center and Pointe Plaza Shopping Center.
A semi-trailer truck was involved in a crash with a train this morning on the Milwaukee Road North train tracks which parallel Lehigh Avenue at that point, and while the intersection was opened, it has now been closed again for repairs, according to Niles police.
