Two Cars Burglarized In Daylight, Windows Smashed
Both incidents happened at a park in the 8200 block of Oketo, Niles, while kids were playing.
A 38-year-old Niles woman took her children to play at Grennan Heights Park, in the 8200 block of Oketo, Niles, between 2:45 and 4 p.m. on Friday, and someone shattered the driver's side window on her 2011 sport utility vehicle and took her purse, which contained her iPhone.
Wallet stolen at same location around same time
A 40-year-old Chicago man took his children to Grennan Heights Park around the same time Friday, and between 2:45 and 4 p.m., someone smashed the driver's side window on his 2007 Nissan automobile and removed his wallet from under the front passenger seat.
