Two Teens Beaten Up After Party

Party-goers offered them a ride, then struck and robbed them.

Police responded to a call from a 17-year-old and an 18-year-old at a parking lot in the 9600 block of Milwaukee Avenue, Niles, Saturday just after midnight. The two men said they had been to a party in Glenview that was broken up by Glenview police. Some men at the party offered them a ride home. Once they got into the men's van, the men began striking them on the head and back, took their shoes and robbed them of $5 and a Blackberry smartphone. The teens didn't know where they were during the robbery. After it was over, the assailants dropped them off at the parking lot where police found them. Niles police contacted Glenview police and turned the victims over to them.
