Women Charged With Retail Theft

An arrest is merely an accusation, not evidence of a conviction.


ARRESTS

Julie S. Radovanic, 47, of Niles, was charged with retail theft after police said she took unlawful control of a bottle of perfume from TJ Maxx, 7250 Dempster, on Nov. 17. Court date is scheduled for 12/10/13 

Stefania Hatzisavas, 43, of Chicago, was charged with retail theft after police said she allegedly took unlawful control of two cosmetic items from TJ Maxx, 7250 Dempster, on Nov. 16. Court date is scheduled for 12/12/13

Emiliya Etman, 48, of Buffalo Grove, was charged with retail theft Nov. 15. Police said she allegedly removed price tags and packaging from a bottle of sun care lotion, a wood cutting board, a relish tray, and a magnifying glass at TJ Maxx and attempted to leave the store without paying. Court date is scheduled for 12/31/13.

Jonathan Martinez, 29, of Evanston was stopped for traffic violations at Dempster and Central Nov. 16, police said, and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. Court date is scheduled for 01/13/13.

Keti Lazarevska, 21, of Chicago, was stopped for traffic violations Nov. 17 at Greenwood and National, police said, and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. Court date is scheduled for 12/09/13. 

Izet Mekic, 18, of Niles was in a vehicle that was stopped for traffic violations Nov. 18 in the 5500 block of Golf, police said, and he was placed into custody for possession of cannabis.  0.6 grams of suspect cannabis was found in the subject’s pants pocket, according to the report. Court date is scheduled for 01/14/13.

Jaime Leon, 33, of Niles was stopped for traffic violations Nov. 14 at Shermer and Harlem, police said, and charged with driving without a DL. Court date is scheduled for 12/09/13.

Marc R. Johnson, 38, of Skokie was stopped for traffic violations Nov. 15 at Dempster and Athletic, police said, and charged with driving without a DL. Court date is scheduled for 12/09/13

Jose V. Estrada, 68, of Des Plaines was charged with hit and run and driving with a suspended driver's license after police said he struck a vehicle in the 8500 block of Fernald Nov. 14 and left the scene.  He was stopped and found to be driving with a suspended DL. Court date is scheduled for 12/12/13

Christopher Okon, 28 of Des Plaines was stopped at Harlem and Greenwood Nov. 15 for traffic violations and charged with driving with a suspended DL. Court date is scheduled for 12/09/13

Michelle Ortac, 48, of Morton Grove was stopped for traffic violations Nov. 16, police said, and charged with driving under the influence and also with a suspended DL. Court date is scheduled for 12/23/13. 

Jason L. David, 34, of Chicago was placed into custody for a foreign warrant, at 9400 Waukegan on Nov. 16.
