British visitor's wallet goes missing
Just after 8:20 a.m. on Sept. 12, a 42-year-old man from the United Kingdom reported he had opened his wallet at a restaurant in the 7100 block of Milwaukee Avenue on the previous day, then returned to his hotel, where he discovered it was missing. Police said the man, who told them he is here on business, suspected he had left the wallet on the counter at the restaurant. He returned to the restaurant and spoke with employees there but was told they did not have his wallet.
