Worker Threatens To Kill Co-Worker

Boss think it's because man was asked to do extra work.

During a meeting at a business in the 8600 block of Dempster, Niles, on March 11, a 58-year-old employee became angry and told a manager that if he had a gun, he would kill a certain co-worker. The manager gave him a chance to retract the statement, but the man insisted, saying he meant it.

The manager sent the man home for the day. When police arrived, the manager told them he didn't have any problems otherwise with this employee, and that the offender's anger may stem from the fact that he was given more work to do than the other employee. The business is requiring the offender to stay off the premises until the matter gets resolved.

She made eye contact with the driver and described him as a 30-to 40-year-old man, with a full black beard. After that, he left the area, and was last seen driving east from Western on Park Lane.
